The Technical Science Administration provides professional levels of technological expertise and services to the scientific community of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Oregon.

These services are also available to the whole university community.

Mission

The Technical Science Administration exists to provide technical support to the scientific research at the University of Oregon, and to support the educational mission of the University in graduate student research.

Functions of TSA

  1. Design and construction of innovative scientific instruments
  2. Repair and maintenance of existing scientific equipment
  3. Instruction of students, staff, and faculty in the use of tools, machinery, and instruments
